School Experiences
at K2 Alpacas, WicklowTeachers, are you looking for that ideal and fun school tour for your class or group? We provide fun filled activities. Take your own alpaca for a walk on a lead. We walk at alpaca pace which can be quite gentle. We pair each person with an alpaca and we walk in convoy as alpacas like to stick together! Along the way, you will get a chance to feed your alpaca by hand (don’t worry, they don’t bite!) and to take loads of photos and selfies. We finish off the trek with a visit to our ‘all alpaca’ Farm Shop.
School Outside Visit: We can also bring our alpacas to visit your school, playschool, montessori, creche etc. Our alpacas are well socialised and love to interact with the children and teachers. The school visit takes 1.5 hours with 2 lovely alpacas. Alpaca Joe facilitates the visit and shall educate the children about the wonderful alpacas, their origin and they get lots of time for petting and photos.
