For us, alpacas are not simply our job, they are our passion.K2Alpacas are based in Wicklow the garden county of Ireland, just 40 mins from Dublin’s City Centre and 50mins from Dublin Airport. We are centrally located to all the major attractions in Wicklow, including many scenic walks and bike trails. If on foot public transport will bring you to Newtownmountkennedy and we are a short taxi ride from there. Our farm has an abundance of wildlife, our self-catering cottages are modern yet retain the farms original character.

K2Alpacas and Down Syndrome Centre partnership brings you the K2Alpaca Pumpkin Patch Experience 2025 this Halloween. The event is a major fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Centre. Come and join us for a fun filled Pumpkin Patch experience for the whole family! Explore our child friendly enchanted Fairy Forest. Wander along Witches Way, stroll down Ghost avenue and mind all the bats and rats along the way.

Alpaca Farm Gift Shop
Our farm shop is wonderland of alpaca. All our genuine alpaca handcrafted items are made for us by Viki and her family who live high up in the Andes in rural Peru where alpacas abound. No two items are the same. Feel the amazingly soft hand made Teddies, Alpacas and other ‘fluffies’. Alpaca slippers are very light but amazingly warm. Alpacas natural thermal properties will keep you toastie.

A Lovely Daytrip
I 100% recommend this to anyone. It’s fun and informative and a really unusual activity to do. We met the alpaca ladies and they were friendly, also a little cautious but not a problem. The trek is easy, suitable for all fitness levels. Nice that you get an opportunity to feed them during the walk also. Great experience.
