K2Alpacas are based in Co. Wicklow the garden county of Ireland, just 40 mins from Dublin’s City Centre and 50mins from Dublin Airport. We are centrally located to all the major attractions in Co. Wicklow, including many scenic walks and bike trails. If on foot public transport will bring you to Newtownmountkennedy and we are a short taxi ride from there. Our Alpacas Farm has an abundance of wildlife, our self-catering cottages are modern yet retain the farms original character. Alpacas are wonderful animals, they have distinct and different personalities. They are intelligent, quirky and inquisitive. It is these characteristics that make them suitable for our Alpaca Experiences, Therapeutic work, Weddings and Promotional Events. Being with Alpacas is a truly unique, fun and memorable experience.

School Experiences
Teachers, are you looking for that ideal and fun school tour for your class or group? We provide fun filled activities. Take your own alpaca for a walk on a lead. We walk at alpaca pace which can be quite gentle. We pair each person with an alpaca and we walk in convoy as alpacas like to stick together! Along the way, you will get a chance to feed your alpaca by hand (don’t worry, they don’t bite!) and to take loads of photos and selfies. We finish off the trek with a visit to our ‘all alpaca’ Farm Shop.

Alpaca Therapeutic Services
Alpacas are particularly suitable as therapy animals. Therefore at K2Alpacas, we offer multiple Alpaca Therapy packages. We love our Alpaca therapy work and are constantly amazed at the results. The alpacas have a sixth sense which is evident by they way they react to different people and situations. Working with alpacas has proven to improve both mental health and physical health. We have experience with working with children with Autism and ADHD. We work with children and adults with special needs and those suffering from Stress and Anxiety.
